Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect what we need to run your portfolio, we don’t sell anything to anyone, and visitor stats work without cookies.

1. Who is responsible
Big Cat Animation LLC, Cairo, Egypt, operates Fannan. Contact: support@fannan.net.
2. What we collect from artists
Your sign-in email, your name, your username and your plan; what you put on your site (work, credits, texts, settings); your payment records (amount, date, months bought). We never see or store your card number: Paymob handles payments.
Basic technical logs (for example errors and security events), kept for a short time.
3. What we collect from visitors to artist sites
Visitor counts without cookies: we turn the visitor’s IP address and browser into a scrambled code that changes every day and can’t be reversed. We don’t store IP addresses for stats. We record the page, the site that sent the visitor and the country (from Cloudflare).
If a visitor uses a contact form, the artist receives their name, email and message. Artists may add their own Google Analytics or Meta Pixel; then those companies’ policies apply on that artist’s site.
4. Cookies
On app.fannan.net we use a sign-in cookie and a language cookie. On artist sites, a cookie is only set when you enter a password for a protected page. We don’t use advertising cookies.
5. Why we use it
To run your account and site, deliver messages, process payments, prevent spam and abuse, send the emails you need (sign-in links, receipts, reminders) and improve Fannan. We don’t sell personal data and don’t use it for advertising.
6. Who helps us
Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database and files, in Belgium), Cloudflare (network and security), Resend (email) and Paymob (payments). They only process data for us, under contract.
7. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, everything is deleted after 14 days; backups are overwritten within a few weeks. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
You can see and change your information in your dashboard, export your site at any time, stop email copies of messages, turn off search indexing and delete your account. Write to support@fannan.net for anything else, including access to or correction of your data.
9. Children
Fannan isn’t for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We’ll tell you by email or in your dashboard before important changes to this policy.
