Content policy
Artists are free to show what’s in their portfolio. That includes artistic nudity, violence in film or game work and mature themes. Pornography isn’t allowed, and the standard rules every hosting platform has apply.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Allowed
Artistic nudity: figure drawing, life studies, anatomy, fine art, character design.
Mature themes, horror, violence, gore, and political or religious subjects in artistic and professional work.
Work for clients, with your credit, when you have the right to show it.
2. Not allowed
Pornography: sexually explicit content whose main purpose is sexual arousal, and sexual services.
Any sexual or sexualised content involving minors, including drawn, animated or AI-generated depictions. Zero tolerance: removed at once, account suspended, records kept and reported to the authorities as the law requires.
Content that’s illegal in Egypt or where it’s viewed.
Hate: attacking or dehumanising people for their religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability and similar.
Threats, harassment and incitement to violence against real people.
Other people’s private information, and intimate images shared without consent.
Someone else’s work shown as your own.
Impersonating a real person, studio or brand.
Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or using a Fannan site to collect passwords or payments under false pretences.
3. Mature work
You can mark a project as mature. Visitors then see a short notice before the images load. This is your choice, never required for artistic nudity; it’s a courtesy for when you send your link to studios.
4. Reporting
Every Fannan site has a “Report this site” link at the bottom. Reports are private and reviewed by a person.
If your own work is shown without permission, send a copyright notice at fannan.net/copyright. We hide the work after a complete notice, and the artist can reply with a counter-notice.
5. What we do
Depending on what we find: no action, hiding a project, unpublishing a site, suspending an account or, for serious or repeated cases, closing it. We email the artist with the reason each time.
